How much does bookkeeping cost?
Monthly bookkeeping starts at $199. Your rate depends on your total monthly expenses. We'll give you an exact number after learning about your business.
My books are behind. Can you fix them?
Yes. We do catch-up work to clean up and bring current months or years of bookkeeping. Pricing depends on how far back we need to go and how much cleanup is involved. We'll give you a quote after reviewing your situation.
Is there a contract?
No long-term contracts. Service is month-to-month. If it's not working, you can cancel anytime.
How do I send you documents?
We set up a secure portal where you can upload receipts, invoices, bank statements, and anything else we need. You can also email them directly if that's easier.
Do we need to meet in person?
Not required. Most of our work is done remotely. We're based in Beaver Dam if you'd prefer to meet face to face, but most clients are comfortable working by phone, video, or email.
What software do you work with?
We work in QuickBooks Online for bookkeeping. For payroll, we support Gusto, Floan, Onpay, and ADP. If you don't have accounting software set up yet, we'll help you get started.
What do I need to do each month?
Not much. Make sure we have access to your bank feeds and upload any receipts we can't pull automatically. Most clients spend about 15 minutes a month on this. We handle everything else.
Do you handle payroll?
We set up your payroll system and train you to run it yourself. We work with Gusto, Floan, Onpay, and ADP. If you need help choosing a platform, we'll walk you through the options and get everything configured.
Do you file taxes?
We prepare and file sales tax returns with the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. We also offer personal tax return preparation for existing bookkeeping clients. For business tax returns, you'll want a CPA. We make sure your books are clean and ready for them.
How quickly do you respond?
Within one business day. If something is urgent, call us directly and we'll prioritize it.
How soon can you start?
Usually within a week. If your books need cleanup, we start there. If everything is current, we move straight into monthly service.
